In mid March of 2020, Adam cancelled his scheduled in-person tours, but went to work gathering footage for virtual tours. The first, Graceland Cemetery: Health Scares in History, ran march 28. It was a hit, and he began a schedule of running 40-60min virtual tours every Thursday at 8pm and Sunday at 10am – as well as “morning mini tours” that ran Monday-Saturday at 10am, each featuring a different story, building, location, or other point of interest. Though most have been in Chicago, since the world began re-opening he’s done tours from several other cities whilst on the road.
To tune in, all you need to do is be on The Mysterious Chicago Facebook page, or Adam’s Twitch or Youtube pages when the tour starts (Morning mini tours are Facebook-only). The virtual tours are free, with donations are requested via eventbrite, Venmo (adamchicago), Paypal – adam@mysteriouschicago.com, or by joining our Patreon, which also gets you tons of cool Chicago history stuff!
Virtual tours can also be arranged for private and corporate groups.
